Wednesday Morning Live! Community Lecture Series for 2014 to begin Jan. 8

The 13th annual Wednesday Morning Live! Community Lecture Series begins Wednesday, Jan. 8, at Covenant Presbyterian Church. The lectures are free of charge and open to the public. The distinguished speakers will cover a wide variety of topics of interest, entertainment and importance to all residents of the Fort Myers area:

- Jan. 8: "Aspects of Peacemaking" with the Rev. Dr. Jeffrey DeYoe, Pastor, Covenant Presbyterian Church

- Jan. 15: "Politics and Religion" with Frank Mann, Lee County Board of Commissioners

- Jan. 22: "Our Forgotten Neighbors" with Barbara Mainster, executive director, Redlands Christian Migrant Association

- Jan. 29: "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" with Doug Molloy, film critic (retired Chief Assistant U.S. Attorney)

- Feb. 5: "The Calusan" with Charles LeBuff, local historian and author

- Feb. 12: "Feed My People" with Al Brislain, president & CEO, Harry Chapin Food Bank

- Feb. 19: "A Portrait of Wallis Simpson, the Duchess of Windsor" with Joanna Olson, actress

- Feb. 26: "You Don't Have to be a Minister to Talk About Business Ethics" with Dawn-Marie Driscoll, business ethics expert
