Danny Rose, 57, of Cape Coral, Florida passed away on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013 with his loving family at his side.
He was born on Feb. 18, 1956 in Middletown, Ohio, the proud son of Arneda (Dalton) and Daniel H. Rose.
Danny was an avid skeet shooter and was a member of the National Skeet Shooting Association. He moved to Florida in 1982 and shortly thereafter met the love of his life, Rosemary Castonguay. The loving couple was married the following year and recently celebrated their 30th Anniversary.
Danny worked for the Lee County Utilities Department as a Certified Operator at the Fort Myers Beach Wastewater Treatment Plant. His central duty was administration and oversight of the Lab, an area where he consistently displayed great aptitude and achievement. Thanks to his consistent diligence, Fort Myers Beach Wastewater Treatment Plant was considered among the highest performers, annually receiving numerous awards from the State of Florida.
He is survived by his loving wife Rosemary; his father Daniel H. Rose; his step-father Jerry Kelhoffer; his sisters Pam Abel and Mary Rose; his brothers David Kelhoffer, Clint and Gary Rose; a number of nieces and nephews, numerous extended family and a multitude of people who were fortunate enough to call him a friend.
A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7, in the Chapel at Anderson-Patterson Cremation and Funeral Services, 2701 Lee Boulevard, Lehigh Acres.
A Memorial Service will then be celebrated in the Chapel at 1 p.m. by Pastor Ray Rosado.
