De Navarra Parkway

through Entrada reopened

After more than two years of being closed off, De Navarra Parkway in Cape Coral has reopened through the Estates at Entrada and the Villages of Entrada to connect traffic between Del Prado Boulevard Extension and U.S. 41 in North Fort Myers, developer Paul Hardy announced recently. The previous property owner had closed the road pending turnover to Lee County; however as the turnover process is now nearing completion the decision was made to open the roadway to the public.

The four-lane road with divided median now connects and shortens the travel time for southbound traffic heading to U.S. 41 from Del Prado, while providing a primary and a secondary entry into the residential communities of Estates at Entrada and Villages of Entrada. It also provides the public with better access to businesses at the 40,000-square-foot Entrada Plaza.

The Estates at Entrada is a 292-acre development originally zoned for 1,600 single-family, multifamily and townhouses, and 170,000 square feet of retail and office space. An amended zoning approval now allows for the construction of more than 2,000 life care units of assisted living, continuing care and independent living accommodations on four of the property's seven building parcels. As now approved, the Estates of Entrada might someday be the largest facility of its kind in the state of Florida.

Read earns AV rating

The law firm of Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A., has announced that real estate attorney Tyra Read has received an AV rating by Martindale Hubbell. During the peer review process, lawyers are rated on their legal ability in five key areas: legal knowledge in their specific area of practice, analytical capabilities, judgment, communication ability, and legal experience. Henderson Franklin now has 41 attorneys who have received an AV Preeminent rating.

Read represents buyers, sellers and property owners, as well as developers, builders and lenders, in residential and commercial real estate matters. She drafts and reviews easement agreements, handles foreclosures for lenders, real estate and loan closings (including issuing title insurance) and works to resolve any real estate matters. She also advises clients in the purchase and sale of land and buildings, including any development, easement and survey matters. She prepares and reviews loan documents for banks, private lenders and borrowers, counsels landlords and tenants in lease negotiations and prepares commercial and residential leases.

Lee and Collier BIA to host

3rd Annual Market Trends

The Lee Building Industry Association and Collier Building Industry Association will host the 3rd Annual Market Trends Tuesday, Nov. 12, at Miromar Design Center, Estero.

The program will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a networking social, immediately followed by Land Solutions' presentation "Where We Are, Where We Are Going & How We Get There" in the new housing market in Lee, Collier & Charlotte counties. The presentation will include detailed statistics and trends specifically related to the new housing development industry.

Martin joins Neal Communities

Adam Martin has joined Neal Communities as lead sales associates at Coastal Key, one of Neal's newest communities located in south Fort Myers, announced Michael Greenberg, Neal's vice president in Lee and Collier counties.

Martin brings more than 10 years' real estate experience and new-home construction management. He attended Western Illinois University prior to relocating to Southwest Florida in 2000.
