October 11, 2013
By JIM LINETTE (jlinette@breezenewspapers.com) , Cape Coral Daily Breeze

Ida Baker and Mariner take a break from district play this Friday while Cape Coral, Island Coast and North Fort Myers collide with district rivals in Week 7.

The Bulldogs (6-0, 1-0) travel to Sarasota to take on Booker and strive to go 7-0 for the first time in school history. The high-powered Bulldogs are coming off a 45-0 rout of Lehigh in their first District 6A-12 test.

Running back Johnny Garrow, who scored four TDs against Lehigh, chewed up 106 yards on just 13 carries. It also was his second straight four-TD performance.
