Men’s Club of Temple Beth El to hold opening of TeeBe golf course

The Men's Club of Temple Beth El in Fort Myers will be holding the grand opening of its TeeBe, three-hole, par 3 golf course Sunday, Oct. 20, at noon. During the celebration, there will be free golf for children.

The course features three holes, a putting green, a driving area, a chipping area and sand trap. Free golf lessons will also be available for all youngsters of pre-bar/bat mitzvah age.

The temple will provide clubs and balls for those who don't have them.

The opening of the course will give youngsters the opportunity to learn the sport along with 10 core values:?Torah, honesty, integrity, sportsmanship, respect, confidence, responsibility, perseverance, courtesy and judgment.

Participants can also submit their idea for a name of the TeeBe course for a chance to win a big prize. Entries should be left in the temple's main office.
