More than 100,000 people, on five continents, in over 400 churches, will be taking part in the God of the Underdogs series a message series that begins next week in Fort Myers at Next Level Church. The God of the Underdogs series is built around the book "God of the Underdogs," written by Matt Keller, with foreword by Rick Warren.

Keller is the founder and lead pastor of Next Level Church, the ninth fastest growing church in the United States according to Outreach Magazine.

"The goal of God of the Underdogs is to encourage people to follow their dreams and change their lives," said Keller. "We are humbled and encouraged by the growth of the series."

Thirty-six churches in Florida have already signed up to take part in the Underdogs Movement. This includes local churches in Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Port Charlotte and Estero, as well as in cities like Orlando, Miami, St. Petersburg, Tallahassee and throughout the state. Nationally, nearly 400 churches are taking part in the series.

Additionally, there are churches in 21 foreign countries participating.

"There are many obstacles and challenges that stand between us and where God desires for us to be, said Herbert Cooper, senior pastor at People's Church in Oklahoma City. "God of the Underdogs will motivate you to overcome life's greatest challenges and reach your God given potential."

The God of the Underdogs series will kick-off at Next Level Church Saturday, Sept. 14 and 15. Next Level Church is located at 12400 Plantation Road, Fort Myers. Saturday services take place at 4:30 and 6:15 p.m. Sunday services are 9 and 10:45 a.m., and 12:30 p.m.
