Sgt. Victor J. Perrotta, 58, of Cape Coral, formerly of Pensacola and Miami, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013, in Cape Coral. He was born Feb. 19, 1955, in the Dominican Republic to Victor and Faride Perrotta.
He made his career in the United States Army as a sergeant until his retirement. He was a loving father, grandfather and husband. He will always be remembered as the rock of the family and his passion for life and sense of humor will never be forgotten. He will forever be remembered for his high morals, values and integrity for which he passed on to his children as well as anyone who had the honor of knowing him.
Here's to his love for salami, barbecues and the greenest lawn in the neighborhood!
He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Amelia M. Perrotta of Cape Coral; his mother, Faride Perrotta; four children, Kay Perrotta-Lenard (Anthony) of Sarasota, Fla., James Victor Perrotta of Cape Coral, Brenda M. Perrotta, also of Cape Coral, and MaryAnn Perrotta of Dominican Republic; four sisters, Georgina Lopez (Jose), Laura Saladin (Augusto), Sofia Tavarez (Elisardo) and Altagracia Valenzuela (Quico), all of the Dominican Republic; one brother, Jorge Perrotta (Maritza Morales) of Dominican Republic; four grandchildren, Kasey, Julian, James and Adrian; as well as the family dog, Fluffy.
Victor was preceded in death by his father, Victor J. Perrotta.
