Century 21 Sunbelt Realty to host career open house

Century 21 Sunbelt Realty is hosting a career open house Tuesday, Sept. 10, in an effort to attract real estate agents to its growing team. The real estate office, located at the Shops at Surfside in Cape Coral, will offer prospective hires refreshments and hors d'oeuvres from 5-7 p.m.

"We're still growing, and looking to add 10 more agents," said AJ Ackerman, a REALTOR with the Randy Peska & Partners Team. "The market is growing too, and we're hoping motivated agents will be attracted to our track record of success."

This is the second time the Ackerman team has expanded. In February, he announced plans to double the number of employees in his office.

The hiring surge in Ackerman's office matches an upward trend in real estate education in Lee, Collier, and Charlotte counties. "We've seen a 70 percent increase in students taking real estate pre-licensing courses compared to 2012, and a 30 percent increase in new sales associate licenses," said Brad Larson, General Manager of Larson Educational Services, a Fort Myers real estate school.

Jeff and Nancy Davis join Miloff Aubuchon Realty Group

Jeff and Nancy Davis have joined the Miloff Aubuchon Realty Group as broker associates. Jeff has been a Realtor for 27 years and was a custom home builder for 14 years as well. Nancy has been a Realtor for 23 years. The Davises can assist you with residential sales, vacant land sales, new construction, annual rentals and property management.

The Davises moved here in January from Louisville, Ky., with their daughter. They also have another daughter and grandson currently in Kentucky but hope to move them down to Cape Coral very soon.

Jeff is a graduate of the Builders Institute and Master Builders Program. Nancy is a graduate of the Realtors Institute and a member of the Council of Residental Specialists.

Daugherty, Nocera top July sales leaders for

Neal Communities

Amy Daugherty and Debbie Nocera, sales representatives at Villa Palmeras in Estero, are the July 2013 sales leaders for Neal Communities in Southwest Florida, announced Michael Greenberg, vice president Neal Communities South Region.

Both Daugherty and Nocera have been with Neal Communities less than six months and are already contributing significantly to a record-breaking sales season for the family-owned and operated residential homebuilder and developer. Nocera sold four homes totaling $1.06 million and Daugherty with five homes at $1.347 million. Since opening in June, the community has over 20 sales and has move-in ready homes available now.

Centrally located between Fort Myers and Naples, Villa Palmeras is a half mile south of Corkscrew Road on Three Oaks Parkway. Villa Palmeras is a gated community of 110 paired villa homes with community pool, spa, bathhouse and boardwalk, with lake and preserve views.

LeeCorp Homes reports increased sales

LeeCorp Homes reports the sales rate has reached 69 percent in Phase 2 at Country Lakes as 22 out of 32 manufactured home lots have been sold.

Country Lakes is a 55-plus deeded lot ownership manufactured home subdivision on Country Lakes Drive, north of Luckett Road, Exit 139, off Interstate 75, in Fort Myers. The average lot size is 77 by 160 feet. Lots are priced between $14,900 and $34,900, with land and home packages priced from the low $100,000s.

Three model homes are featured at Country Lakes, all built by Jacobsen Homes of Safety Harbor, Fla. The Cypress is priced at $ 124,900. The Pelican is priced at $149,900. The Regatta is priced at $159,900. Prices include home, exterior additions, lot, sales tax and impact fees.
