Forwards Josh Geary and defenseman Joe Stejskal have agreed to contract terms with the Florida Everblades, bringing the team's roster for 2013-14 to 13 players.
Geary, 23, returns after posting three points (1g, 2a) in four appearances with the Everblades last spring. Prior to Florida, the 6-foot, 185-pound forward concluded his collegiate career at St. Michael's College with a career best 24 points and 16 goals.
"Josh is a strong skating forward, who fits well in our system," said Blades coach Greg Poss. "We are excited to be able to bring him back this season."
Stejskal, 25, joins the Everblades after splitting time with the Hamilton Bulldogs (AHL) and the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL) last season. The 6-3, 206-pound blue liner registered six points (1g, 5a) in 31 games played with Hamilton, logging four assists in 26 appearances with Wheeling.
"Joe is a good sized, two-way defenseman who skates very well," said Poss. "We expect him to contribute on our power play."
The Everblades open the new season at Germain Arena on Oct. 18.
