Ilamarie Bauer Pierce, 85 of Cape Coral, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013, at Hope Hospice Cape Coral. She was born Sept. 19, 1927, in Elyria, Ohio, to Marjorie L. (Whitney) Bauer Rebel and George D. Bauer.
Her greatest joy was working as a Florida Realtor. She and her late husband, John E. Pierce, owned and operated C21 Pierce Realty Inc. in Ft. Lauderdale and she owned and operated ERA Heritage Realty Inc. Cape Coral. She earned many designations including CRS, GRI, LTG. and CAM. In 1986 she was the state of Florida president of Women's Council of Realtors, and in 1991 was the WCR Member of the Year. In 1995 she was the president of the Cape Coral Association of Realtors and felt privileged to serve.
Her spiritual affiliation was with the Faith Presbyterian Church in Cape Coral where she was an Elder and had chaired the worship and music committee.

She is survived by her children, Marilyn M. (Ken) Blank of Cape Coral, Robert W. (Pat) Kristof of Plantation, Fla., and Patti L. Cook of Fanning Springs, Fla.; step-daughter, Karen (Bruce) Wagar of Cumming, Ga.; grandchildren, Ken (Lisa) Blank, Beth Blank, Robert (Leslie) Kristof, Kristopher Kristof, Kristine Kristof, Amy Cook and Leah (Trip) Lancaster; step-grandchildren, Scott (Gina) Leimach, Laurie Leimbach, Wendi (Dick) Smith, Tammy Leimbach, Clayton (Shannon) Wagar and Nicholas Rowe; seven great-grandchildren and 10 step-greatgrandchildren.
Memorial services will be Saturday, Aug. 24, at 2 p.m., at the Chapel of the Faith Presbyterian Church, 4544 Coronado Parkway. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Faith Presbyterian Church Building Fund or Hope Hospice.
