‘Mask’ exhibit now open at Alliance of the Arts

Beginning today, Aug. 9, the Main Gallery at the Alliance for the Arts will be filled with work following the theme "Mask" created by its many member artists. This annual exhibition gives current alliance members the opportunity to display their artwork.

The opening reception is today, Aug. 9, from 5-7:30 p.m. Refreshments at the reception are provided by Costco. The exhibit runs Aug. 9-30.

Paintings by Doug Patterson will be featured in the Member Gallery.

Individual Alliance memberships are $50 annually and offer valuable benefits including exhibition opportunities, discounted entry fees and 20 percent off classes and workshops. The artist prospectus is available at the Alliance for the Arts on the corner of Colonial and McGregor boulevards in Fort Myers, online at www.ArtInLee.org or can be requested by mail by calling (239) 939-2787.

The Alliance for the Arts proudly supports artists and arts organizations in our area as the state designated Local Arts Agency for Lee County. The Alliance campus and galleries are open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday and from 9a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays, located at 10091 McGregor Blvd..
