James "Jim" Arthur Hannon, 64, a Cape Coral resident since 1981, formerly of Calumet, Mich., passed away Monday, July 29, 2013, in Cape Coral. He was born April 23, 1949, in Calumet to Ardell and Margaret Hannon, now deceased.
He was a proud member of the Cape Coral Moose Lodge. His passion for the game of pool lead to endearing friendships and adventurous travels. His love as a father, grandfather and family member will forever be in our hearts. His sense of humor and gift of making others laugh will be deeply missed by all.
He is survived by his three loving children, James "Jay" Hannon II of Tampa, Amber H. Fred of Tallahassee and Mackenzie (Bryan) Gibson, also of Tallahassee; his beloved long-term girlfriend, Jari Smith of Cape Coral; a brother, Bill (Donna) Hannon of Mohawk, Mich.; as well as three grandchildren, Alani, Olivia and Owen.

Visitation will be held 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 3, at Mullins Memorial, 1056 N.E. 7th Terrace, Cape Coral, FL 33909.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 3, at the Cape Coral Moose Lodge #2199, 155 Santa Barbara Blvd., Cape Coral, with Moose Lodge Gov. Bob Camperlino officiating.
