Ronald John Dellamano, 79, of Cape Coral, formerly of Orland Park, Ill., passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2013. He was born Jan. 5, 1934, in East St. Louis, Ill., to Lynn and Pearl Dellamano, now deceased.
He was a funny, kind, giving, strong, loving man. He was a man who you wanted as your friend. He was a family man who cherished his family unconditionally. Stood behind each one of them no matter what road they wanted to take and let them know that he was right there to catch them if they fell. It is sad that this world has lost such a wonderful person but, to his friends and family he will always be there. Whether in memories or spirit, he will live on. We will miss you but, never, never stop loving you. We are very lucky to have had you in our lives.
He is survived by his beloved wife of over 59 years, Joan Dellamano of Cape Coral; three children, Scott (Sherry) Dellamano of Frankfort, Ill., Tammy (Dennis) McDonald of Homer Glen, Ill., and Jamie Dellamano of West Palm Beach, Fla.; six grandchildren, Brian McDonald, Mike McDonald, Dan McDonald, Lori Dellamano, Tony Dellamano and Joey Dellamano; as well as six great-grandchildren, Kyera, Quinn, Caden, Charlie, Lily and Allie.
