Students from Kodokan Judo earn top medals in 2013 USA?Junior Olympics

Kodokan Judo of Cape Coral travelled to Texas representing Southwest Florida at the 2013 USA Junior Olympics with three female athletes, Melissa Herrera, 10, Christina Paccione, 11, and Erica Paccione, 12.

Sensei John Paccione also coached Raffy Marascio, 10, a former student who moved to New Jersey.

South Florida is a hotbed of judo in the nation and arrived in force to collect the bounty with other clubs, like Florida School of Judo, Budokan Dojo in Miami and Somerset Academy-Panther Judo Club in Pembroke Pines.
