Camilla "Camie" L. Harris, 72, of Cape Coral passed away very peacefully Wednesday, June 5, 2013. Born July 8, 1940, in Schenectady, N.Y., she was a devoted mother and very respected, well-travelled business woman. She lived in India in the 1960s with her family and came to Fort Myers in 1977.
Her passion for travel led her to choose it as a career. She owned and operated several travel agencies throughout Lee County in her years.
She was an avid reader, loved fishing and had a special love for dolphins. After she retired, she obtained her real estate license and tended to her gardening in her spare time. Her family meant everything to her and raised four children seemingly effortlessly. Her home was always open for all.
