William Alexander Delong, 68, a North Fort Myers resident for the last year, formerly of Clarksville, Tenn., passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013, in North Fort Myers. He was born May 16, 1945, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to William and Marian Delong, now deceased.
He graduated form the University of New Haven in Connecticut. He was a beloved father, husband and friend. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his two loving daughters, Crystal (Anthony) Burchard of Clarksville, Tenn., and Marretje Van Dijk of Milford, Conn.; two grandchildren, Faith Burchard and Riley Kszywienski; as well as his buddy, Petey, the dog.
He was preceded in death by his bride, Patricia Anne Delong, in 2009.
No formal services are planned at this time.
