Anna Marie Stuhler, 72, died Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at Hope Hospice in Cape Coral. She was born Dec. 7, 1940, in Mayville, N.D., the daughter of Stanley and Nina Skatberg.
She had retired to Cape Coral with her husband, Monty, after selling Midwest Bicycle in Excelsior, Minn. She was an avid reader and never met a crossword puzzle she couldn't solve. She loved to golf and socialize with friends. She also loved to cheer for the Minnesota Twins and Vikings.
She is survived by her husband, Monty; two sons Mike Haugse (Natalie) of Geneseo, Ill., and Bill Haugse (Heather) of Bagley, Minn.; and daughter, Kathy Stuhler of St. Paul, Minn. She is also survived by her sisters Astrid Skatberg and Ilene Brown (Charlie); as well as her brother, Leon Skatberg; four grandchildren ,Savanna, Michael, Malorie and Lilyann; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many loving friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Nina, and her sister, Myrna.
A private family service is planned later this summer in Bloomington, Minn..
