To the editor:
Strange, isn't it? Relatively new Cape Coral City Manager John Szerlag says the City has a $20 million short fall and, unless there's an immediate tax on utilities - or an increase in property taxes or -- not exactly sure what the tax will be -- but, either Cape Coral property owners pay or -- trouble. Seems to me the last City Manager who had the audacity to suggest the City had fiscal trouble was dispensed with. Quickly.
Is Szerlag on the way out now? Seems only fair. The messenger has to pay, per history.
