Caroline Lena Bartlett, 82, a Cape Coral resident for the last 2 years, formerly of North Fort Myers of 42 years, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2013, in Cape Coral. She was born Oct. 6, 1930, in Chardon, Ohio, to Jacob and Karoline Victor, now deceased.
She was one of the loyal parishioners of Victory Baptist Church in North Fort Myers. She was a wonderful wife and mother to five children. She enjoyed being outdoors, bowling, spending time with loved ones and friends. She also enjoyed arts and crafts, was an animal lover and a very kind hearted women who would do anything to help others.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Merle O. Bartlett of New Port Richey; two children, Kim (Iva Jean) Bartlett of Alabama and Melody R. Kenyon of Cape Coral; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; as well as one great-great-granddaughter, Kathleen M. Brogan, daughter of Sabrina M Contreras.

She was preceded in death by three children, Virginia A Brown, Merle E. Bartlett and Betty J Kobilus; as well as four sisters and eight brothers.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 13, at Cape Coral Assembly of God with Pastor Michael Carter officiating.
