The Minnesota Twins enjoyed yet another Grapefruit League season at Hammond Stadium well attended by fans.
The team set a new all-time single-game Spring Training record attendance of 8,366 when the New York Yankees visited on March 22.
The total Spring attendance at Hammond Stadium in 2013 was 113,845, ranking 9th overall in the Twins' 23 seasons here. It also is the 13th consecutive season in which the Twins have drawn more than 100,000 fans to home Spring Training games.
The Twins (17-15) beat the Boston Red Sox 8-3 on Friday at Hammond Stadium. The Fort Myers exhibition season rivals square off in the final spring training game for both at 1:35 p.m. Saturday at JetBlue Park.
The Twins make their regular season debut at Target Field in Minneapolis at 4:10 p.m. on Monday against the Detroit Tigers.
The teams return to Target Field for two more games at 3:10 p.m. on Wednesday and 12:10 p.m. on Thursday.
