Ocala Forest rallies past Mariner

The Mariner Tritons rallied to take their first lead in the seventh inning, but Ocala Forest had an answer Tuesday night.

The Tritons overcame a 4-0 deficit with their six-run uprising in the seventh to grab a 6-4 lead, but the Wildcats forced extra innings and claimed an 7-6 win in the bottom of the eighth inning.

Bryce Borngraeber pitched 4 2/3 innings of relief, surrendering just three hits while striking out five, and was tagged with the loss.

Enrique Morales drove in two of the runs in the seventh-inning rally for the Tritons (7-9), who host North Fort Myers on Tuesday.
