Mike Greenwell's Bat-A-Ball & Family Fun Park in Cape Coral will be hosting its 22nd Annual Easter Bunny Trail Saturday, March 30, from 10 a.m. to noon. The event, sponsored by Cat County 107.1, is free and open to all children 12 years of age and younger.
During the event, youngsters will walk along Greenwell's miniature golf course and receive Easter goodies from local business sponsors. Those sponsors include Fort Myers Skatium, Tropical Twisters, Perkins Restaurant Del Prado, Neff Studio Salon, Pink Poodle Grooming, Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast, Jet's Pizza, Helping Paws Sanctuary, A-Z Plumbing, Martial Arts University and Houdini's Pizza Magic.
Participants are asked to bring their own baskets, and donations of pet food will be also accepted for local animal shelters. Those donating pet food will be entered in a raffle for special prizes.
Open year-round, seven days a week, except Thanksgiving and Christmas day, Greenwell's is located at 35 N.E. Pine Island Road in Cape Coral. Hours are Sunday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
There are no admission or parking fees at the park, which features four go-kart tracks, a 19-hole miniature golf course, eight batting cages, a 6,000-square-foot arcade, a paintball field and more.
The facility also features "The Dugout" Sports Bar & Grill.
