Vito A. Papasodero, 74, of Rotonda West, Fla., formerly of Cape Coral, died March 15, 2013, in North Port, Fla. He was born on March 10, 1939, in Englewood, N.J., a child of Francisco A. and Nancy (Gergorio) Papasodero.

A resident of Rotonda West for the past 5 years, he previously lived in Cape Coral since 1972. He was the owner of SW Painting Company in Cape Coral for many years and was a member of the Cape Coral Elks Lodge and St. Andrew's Catholic Church.

He is survived by his children, Lisa (David) Leal of Dracut, Mass., Frank (Cheryl) Papasodero of Fort Myers, Luke (Vanessa Pacholok) Papasodero of Dracut, Mass., and Vito (Sabrina) Papasodero of Fort Myers; four grandchildren; his sisters, Marie (Bernie) Annicelli and Kay DeStefano, all of New York, and his companion, Sue Clark.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, March 21, at 2 p.m., at the Cape Coral Elks Lodge, 4631 S.E. 10th Place, Cape Coral, where the family will receive friends after 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to the above named Elks Lodge. Friends may sign the guest book at
