Florida Everblades forward Danick Gauthier was recalled Thursday by the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League.
Gauthier, 21, posted six points (3g, 3a) in just five games played with the 'Blades. Gauthier had appeared in 29 games for the Crunch this season, registering seven points (5g, 2a).
Last season Gauthier played 66 games for the Saint John Sea Dogs of the QMJHL. Gauthier signed as a free-agent with the Tampa Bay Lightning in March of 2012.
The Everblades host to the South Carolina Stingrays at Germain Arena at 7 p.m. Saturday.
The 'Blades entertain the Stingrays again on St. Patrick's Day Sunday. Fans can receive a $10 terrace level ticket at the box office simply by wearing green to the game.
