Belinda Marie Bodkin, 60, a 32-year resident of Cape Coral, formerly of Warren, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013.
She was a loving wife, mother and friend. She lived her life as she stood up to the challenges of breast cancer, courageously.
She retired early after 26 years from a customer service supervisor position with the city of Cape Coral, Utilities Department. Her dream was to retire, but she deeply missed the people.
Words of Wisdom: Yearly cancer screenings, stop smoking; enjoy a good drink now and then, vacation often, Love your family, miracles do happen, never give up & fight a good fight.
She is survived by her husband, Timothy Bodkin; two children, Kristine (Nedal) Agel of Cape Coral; her son, Jason Bodkin of Maui, Hawaii; four grandchildren, Sahara, Allison, Jordyn and J.J.; parents, Kenneth and Lois Davis of LaBelle, Fla.; sister, Laurie (John) Markovich of Cortland, Ohio; brother, Richard Davis of West Palm Beach, Fla.; many other family members and wonderful friends.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
