Riverdale snapped a 3-3 deadlock with a game-winning run in the fourth inning and added two insurance runs later to hand Cape Coral its first defeat 6-3 Tuesday night.
Kerry McLaughlin hammered a solo home run in the first inning to put the Seahawks ahead. Pitcher Makenzie Buss ripped a two-run homer in the third to give the Seahawks a 3-2 lead.
Riverdale ultimately tied the game again before seizing the lead for good.
The Seahawks (4-1) host Fort Myers Wednesday.
