Anna Louisa Rivera, 45, a Lee County resident for over 10 years, formerly of Patterson, N.J., passed away Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, in Cape Coral. She was born Nov. 28, 1967, in Brooklyn, N.Y.
She was of the Catholic faith and was a DCF case worker for the state of Florida. She was also Southwest Florida College graduate where she studied criminal justice. She was a perfect mother to her children and step-children, that she could have been awarded an Emmy Award.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Victoria Ann Lopez and her boyfriend, Nick Looney of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; her son, Kenneth A. Lopez of Cross City, Fla.; her mother, Carmen E. Clarke; a step-daughter, Jasmine Rivera; a step-son, Junito Rivera; six siblings, Ilda Cintron, Chino Matias, Carmen Cintron, Helena Lawton, Ceasar Lawton, Jasmine Matias and Josephine Cintron; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jose Antonio Cintron.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 16, at Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1056 N.E 7th Terrace, Cape Coral, with Father Remi officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
