Former resident of Marion, Ohio, Cleora Taylor, 95, of McKinney, Texas, passed away at her home Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, after a fall on New Year's Day. She was born in New Castle, Pa., Aug, 10, 1917, to Andrew B. Fauzey and Francis Cecilia Rensel Fauzey. She was married to Harry H. Taylor for 50 years. He preceded her in death in Cape Coral.

She graduated from New Castle High School, where she played basketball. While living in Marion, Ohio, she was a very competitive golfer.

She is survived by her three daughters, Patricia Haley of McKinney, Texas, Judith O'Hara, also of McKinney, Texas and Kay Merritt of Branson West, Missouri. She is survived by her eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, Jan. 14, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Pastor Rick Coburn officiating.

Interment will be at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens in Fort Myers at a later date.
