Norman "Jack" Jarvis, 87, of North Fort Myers passed away Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at Lee Memorial Cape Coral Hospital. He was born Dec. 11, 1925, in Weston, W.Va., to Blair and Leora Jarvis. He served his country honorably with the U.S. Army during World War II. He married Helen Lawson Dec. 25, 1947, in Weston, W.Va. He worked for General Motors in Lordstown, Ohio, for 26 years. He retired in 1992 and moved to Florida in 2002. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge in Ravenna, Ohio.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Helen; three daughters, Beverly Jarvis of Florida, Pamela (Butch) Henning of Okahoma and Kimberlee (Mike) Rotondo of Florida; one brother, James Jarvis of Ohio; one sister, Camilla Dengler of California; two grandchildren, Steve and Jennifer; and four great-grandchildren, Alexandria, Jacob, Baylor and Alex.

A memorial service will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Friday Jan. 11, at Lake Arrowhead Clubhouse located at 2860 US Business 41, North Fort Myers.
