Edward Victor Malawskey, 65, a Cape Coral resident for the last 22 years, formerly of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and West Keansburg, N.J., passed away Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, in Cape Coral. He was born Dec. 16, 1947, in Long Branch, N.J., to Edward and Evelyn Malawskey, now deceased.
He was of the Catholic faith and was a U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Shawna Malawskey of Miami, Fla., and his brother, James (Mary Lou) Malawskey of Mechanicsburg, Pa.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, Dec. 28, at Mullins Memorial, 1056 N.E. 7th Terrace, Cape Coral. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the hour of service.
