Florida Everblades goaltender Pat Nagle was recalled Thursday by the Syracuse Crunch, their American Hockey League affiliate.
Nagle, 25, had a 5-5-0-1 record in 12 games with the Blades this season, recording a 3.47 GAA and a .887 save percentage.
The 6-foot-1, 180-pound goaltender appeared in 39 games last season with Florida, compiling a record of 20-14-3, with a 2.87 GAA and .905 save percentage. Nagle appeared in six playoff games recording a 1.42 GAA and .941 save percentage to help lead the 'Blades win their first Kelly Cup Championship last spring.
Nagle set several school records during his four-year collegiate career at Ferris State University (2007-11). He was named a candidate for the Hobey Baker Award, which is awarded to the top player in the NCAA.
The Everblades battle the Orlando Solar Bears at Germain Arena Friday and Saturday nights.
