A new and used bookstore, writers' mecca and artistic celebration center, The Art of Literature Book Sellers will open its doors Saturday, Dec. 22, and a grand opening celebration is scheduled for Jan. 1.
The Cape Coral establishment will operate its bookstore via the front half of the store, while the back half will host writing classes and seminars taught by local authors, editors and agents.
TAOL will also host book clubs, reader clubs, and children's story hours, weekly.
When classes are not in session, local writers and book clubs can use the opportunity and open space to work at their craft.
According to its owners Darrell and Victoria Moore, TAOL was launched to "create a community center in Cape Coral for both readers and writers, and to partner with the surrounding schools and centers to promote literacy and creative expression."
