Angel Inchausti's most important free throw with 1.6 seconds on the clock was the game-winner, sealing a 10-point fourth-quarter comeback victory for the Island Coast Gators over Estero, 56-55, Monday night.

Inchausti finished with a game and season-high 30 points, which also included six three-point baskets.

After a tight first half, R.J. Myers led the Wildcats to a 47-37 lead after three quarters by putting up 14 of his team-high 19 points in the third quarter.

"We denied him the ball in the fourth," said Gators coach Greg Coleman. "I used Inchausti and (Kaleb) Darrett on him and pressed them full court."

The strategy worked as the Gators took a one-point lead with seven seconds left. The Panthers hit a free throw to tie the game and set the stage for Inchausti's big moment at the end. After hitting the first of two free throws, Inchausti purposely missed the second so the clock would run out on the Wildcats.

"It wasn't pretty, but a win is a win," said Coleman.

The Gators (6-5) play the first game of the Mariner Christmas Tournament at 2:15 p.m. Thursday against North Fort Myers.
