Oasis continues to add to its single season record win total in girls' basketball with Monday night's 53-42 District 3A-11 victory over Evangelical Christian.

"It's good to get a district win while battling some injuries," said Sharks coach Sam Wood. "And we've got more games to keep adding to the most wins in school history."

Jordan Westendorf led the way for the Sharks (8-7, 5-3 district), scoring 27 points to go with five steals. Samantha Wood added 14 points, including three three-pointers to go with six assists, and Tatiana Bruno pulled down a season-high 16 rebounds.

The win helps keep the Sharks third in the standings with one district game remaining.

The Sharks host Mariner on Friday night and look ahead to the Queen of Palms Tournament after Christmas.
