John Michael Ciolino Jr., 56, a Cape Coral resident for the last three years, formerly of Old Saybrooke, Conn., died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, in Cape Coral. He was born May 14, 1956, in New Haven, Conn., to John M. Ciolino Sr. and Carol Ciolino, now deceased.
He was of the Catholic faith. He was an avid racer of midget cars and drag racing. He also loved to build and ride Harley Davidson motorcycles and was a private business owner. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his three loving siblings, Scott (Charlotte) Ciolino of Pt. Charlotte, Fla., Donna (Gary) Weigert of Martinsdale, Iowa, and Lori (Robert) Greco of Fort Myers; as well as six nieces and nephews, Jacquelyn Greco, Christopher Ciolino, Nicholas Ciolino, Julie Ciolino, Allison Ciolino and Taylor Weigert.
A funeral was held Friday, Dec. 14, at Grace United Methodist Church, 13 S.E. 21st Place, Cape Coral, with Pastor Thomas Simmons officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 1 p.m. until the hour of service.
