Lee County's two top girls' soccer teams collided on the soccer field at North Fort Myers Friday night for a classic challenge.

Monique Elliott put Ida Baker on the board with the game's only goal midway through the first half and the Bulldogs held on from there to claim a 1-0 victory at Moody Field.

"It went right down to the bitter end," said Red Knights coach Donna Agostinelli. "We had some great shots on goal, just couldn't get one in. We hit the crossbar, the post and saw some great saves."
