Authorities seek help finding endangered youth

Andrew Gerard Zidek, a 16-year-old white male, has been missing since he fled from the Vista Center at 10140 Deer Run Farms Road, Fort Myers, at 2:36 p.m. today, Nov. 29. Zidek is from the southwest part of Cape Coral and it is unknown if he is trying to get home. Deputies and officers with the Lee County Sheriff's Office and Fort Myers Police Department searched for over two hours in the surrounding area with aviation and multiple K-9s, but he was not located.

The Lee County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance in locating Zidek. He has short brown hair, brown eyes, and is 5-9, 140 pounds. He was last seen in the area southwest of the Vista Center near Plantation Boulevard. He is wearing a black sweater, jeans and not wearing any shoes. There is concern for his safety.
