Carolyn Siegle, 84, of North Fort Myers passed away peacefully Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012, at Hope Hospice in Cape Coral.
She is survived by her seven children, Sarece Siegle, Wayne (Marcia) Siegle Jr., Max Siegle, Ronald (Leslie) Siegle, Cheryle (Bill) Wendt, Carol (Richard) Gilstrap and Theodore (Veronica) Siegle. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a sister, Helen Stewart of Peoria, Ariz.
She was preceded in death in 2005 by her husband of 58 years, Wayne D. Siegle.
She was born on Nov. 13, 1928, in Remington, Ind., to Karl and Sarah Baer. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She spent most of her career in the upholstery business in the Goodland, Ind., area. She had a passion for baking, restoring antiques, sewing and spending time with her family. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Red Hats Society.
Wayne and Carolyn moved to North Fort Myers upon retirement in 2002. They became active in the Apostolic Christian Church in North Fort Myers and made many friends in the Carriage Village community in which they lived.
Services will be held at the Apostolic Christian Church in North Fort Myers Monday, Nov. 26, at 2:30 p.m. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the funeral.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Hope Hospice in Cape Coral.
