Ray Conley, 80, of Cape Coral went home to be with the Lord Monday, Oct. 29, 2012. He moved to Cape Coral in 1976 where he continued his career in the car industry. Upon retirement, he became a school crossing guard for the city of Cape Coral. He was a long-time member and choir member of the First Baptist Church of Cape Coral.
He will be deeply missed by his family and many close friends.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Edith.
He is survived by his three children, Christal Brewer (Jack), David Conley (Patricia) and Linda Brown (Scott), many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Bealah Wells of Ohio.
A funeral will be held Sunday Nov. 4, at 1 p.m., at First Baptist Church of Cape Coral, 4117 Coronado Parkway, Cape Coral. Interment to follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
