Robert Leon Skeen, 74, of Cape Coral died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, at Hope Hospice, Cape Coral. He was born Jan. 8, 1938, in Moundsville, W.Va., a child of Clarence L. and Carrie A. (Woods) Skeen.
A resident of Cape Coral since 1988, he was employed as a carpenter for more than 20 years with Raymond Builders and was a member of the Hot Chili Rods Car Club, Cape Coral.
He is survived by his children, Angie (Dominic) Macioce of W. Pataskala, Ohio, Brett L. (Kathy) Skeen of Columbus, Ohio, and Bart Skeen of Baltimore, Ohio, and their mother, Jean Ann DeCarlo; his step-children, Theresa Scheall of Fort Myers and Debbie Williams of Fort Myers; his stepson, Kenneth Williams of Eatontown, N.J.; his companion, Pam Campen of Cape Coral, and her children, Theresa (David) Rohrman, Bonnie (Gary) Johnson and Ranae (Paul) Atkinson, all of Fort Myers; 19 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; his brother, Charles William (Denise) Skeen of Fort Myers; and his sisters-in-law, Connie and Barb Skeen.
He was the husband of the late Gloria Williams Skeen, father of the late Randy and Robbie Skeen and brother of the late Gene and Don Skeen.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, Oct. 21, at 2 p.m., in the Chapel of Hope Hospice, 2430 Diplomat Parkway, Cape Coral.
