North Fort Myers Academy for the Arts and the Florida Everblades Hockey Club have teamed up to host a Family Fun Night featuring performances and art from the North Fort Myers Academy for the Arts.
The public is invited to join members from the school community to celebrate the talented students and their families.
Pre-game art exhibits and performances begin at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, at Germain Arena, 11000 Everblades Parkway, Estero (game face off at 7:30 p.m.) Art, chorus, band, drama, computer arts, and costume design students will exhibit and demonstrate their talents throughout the venue.
As an ARTS ACHIEVE! Model School, North Fort Myers Academy for the Arts is designated and designed to instruct in academics while incorporating arts as a strong component in the curriculum. All levels of artistic ability and economic status are welcome, and students from across the entire school will take part in the evening.
Those interested in attending the game and participating in the Family Fun Night are encouraged to call North Fort Myers Academy for the Arts at 239-997-2131 to purchase tickets at the special price of $16 and reserve their place in the school s section of Germain Arena.
Those attending are encouraged to wear red to show their support of arts in schools. All proceeds will support ongoing and future arts education programs and special arts opportunities at North Fort Myers Academy for the Arts.
