Cape Alliance Church

Monday evenings at 7, Women in the Word continue their Bible study of 1st and 2nd Corinthians. Make new friends. A complete schedule of the spring session is located at www.Cape4Christ.org.

Each Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. Older Adults Knowing the Savior (OAKS) study various Bible books and topics. All older adults are welcome to participate.

Thursdays at 6:15 p.m., the church offers free English lessons to anyone interested. Bring your friends.

Each second and fourth Thursday at 6 p.m., women gather to knit and crochet shawls and pray for others. Participate in this interesting ministry to the community and world.

Sunday evenings at 6 p.m., AWANA and student activities are available to kids age 3 through 5th grade and teens grade 6 to 12. All kids and teens are encouraged to come.

Cape Christian Fellowship

Cape Christian Fellowship has a worship time and style to fit everyone. Contemporary worship is held on Sunday mornings at 9:45 and 11:15. Traditions, which incorporates communion, classic hymns and a more relaxing atmosphere, is held Sunday mornings at 8:30. Family Nights is held on Fridays at 6:30 p.m., and is always followed by a special event or activity for the whole family to enjoy. All of the services have the same message - this week Pastor Dennis Gingerich speaks on "The Fine Art of Dying Well."

During the 9:45 and 11:15 a.m. worship gatherings, Bugz Landing is where infants through Pre-K learn about how God loves them and how Jesus is their forever friend. KidzStreet is for children from kindergarten through 5th grade and Infuse is where middle school students learn to grow in their faith. There is a special service every Wednesday night, "Awakening" for high school students, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

VBS at Cape Christian Fellowship

Cape Christian Fellowship invites children to Sky: Everything is possible with God! A summer kids' event called Sky will be hosted at Cape Christian from June 4-8, from 6-9 p.m. At Sky, faith and imagination soar as kids discover that everything is possible with God. Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and dig into yummy treats, experience electrifying Bible adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them to trust God, and so much more.

Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes with Fly Away Finale - a celebration that gets everyone involved in living what they've learned. Sky is for kids from three years old to entering fifth grade.

Cape Coral First United Methodist Church

Cape Coral First United Methodist Church's next sermon series is entitled "Faith for Tough Times: The Message of the Prophet Jeremiah." We are living in the midst of challenging times. Uncertainty and conflict are pervasive in our world and in our personal lives. In this sermon series, the church will turn to the biblical book of Jeremiah, which was written in the midst of economic strife, social division, and personal struggles. Join the congregation as it explores how Jeremiah's life and words might help everyone to develop a faith for tough times, and to live with hope for the future.

Vacation Bible School is just around the corner! Foundations Early Learning Center provides childcare, preschool and afterschool care for children from infants to 4 years old in a new facility as part of the growing family and youth programs at Cape Coral First United Methodist. VBS is back at Cape Vineyard the week of June 11- 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Registration is available for all students entering Kindergarten through 5th grade for the 2012/2013 school year.

Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Cape Coral

Evangelical Presbyterian Church offers counseling services to individuals, couples and groups. All of us, from time to time, face challenges that threaten our security and exhaust our emotional and spiritual strength. Faith Bible Fellowship

Missionary Jasmine Martinson started an orphanage in Haiti 10 years ago. The orphanage has survived everything from hurricanes, looting, extreme poverty, voodoo and, of course, the earthquake. She will be in Cape Coral from June 1-5. She will be giving a presentation Sunday, June 3, at Faith Bible Fellowship at 10 a.m.

Messiah Lutheran Church

The church's "Missionary of the Month" is the Rev. Allen Vander Pol. He is a missionary and professor at Miami International Seminary. He writes theology courses in English for students around the world who study with MINTS. He writes courses in Systematic (doctrinal) Theology. He supervises students and study centers in Southeast Asia. He travels to India, Myanmar and the Philippines to teach and supervise the work of study centers there. He also tutors a student in Malawi.
