Roland E. Brodeur, 81, a North Fort Myers resident since 1989, formerly of Worcester, Mass., died May 25, 2012 in Cape Coral. He was born Jan. 21, 1931, in Worcester to Theodore and Flora Brodeur.
He was of the Catholic faith. He lived to ride his motorcycle and was a member of the Gulf Coast Cruisers Motorcycle Club. He also loved boating, the beach and was known to have quite the sense of humor amongst his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris M. Brodeur, in 1998.
Survivors include his three loving children, Roland L. (Lisa) Brodeur and of New Hampshire, Norma L. (Bill) Campbell of Florida and Sueann (George) Ruo of Maryland; a sister, Terri (Joe) Silva of Massachusetts; six grandchildren, Cris Patterson, Michael Brodeur, Michael Campbell, Cindy Campbell, George Ruo III and Thomas Ruo; four great-grandchildren, Madison Campbell and Tyler, Sierra and Alyssa Patterson; as well as a special brother-in-law, Richard (Judy) Gravell of North Forth Myers.
No formal services are planned at this time.
