Cape Coral First United Methodist Church's next sermon series is entitled "Faith for Tough Times: The Message of the Prophet Jeremiah." We are living in the midst of challenging times. Uncertainty and conflict are pervasive in our world and in our personal lives. In this sermon series, the church will turn to the biblical book of Jeremiah, which was written in the midst of economic strife, social division, and personal struggles. Foundations Early Learning Center provides childcare, preschool and afterschool care for children from infants to 4 years old in a new facility as part of the growing family and youth programs at Cape Coral First United Methodist. Join Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Cape Coral Sunday at 10:20 a.m. as Pastor Brent Lauder speaks from Acts 2: 1-43 titled, Babel Undone. The church's "Missionary of the Month" is the Rev. Allen Vander Pol. He is a missionary and professor at Miami International Seminary. He writes theology courses in English for students around the world who study with MINTS. He writes courses in Systematic (doctrinal) Theology. He supervises students and study centers in Southeast Asia. He travels to India, Myanmar and the Philippines to teach and supervise the work of study centers there. He also tutors a student in Malawi.
