The Euro Hair Studio, which opened March 15, 2011, recently celebrated its one-year anniversary.

Amira Redzic, who was a stylist at Strands Salon and Spa for five years, decided she could do well by opening her own salon.

She chose "a very modern decor fashioned with European flair."

"We are looking to bring a new image and idea to Cape Coral," Redzic said in a prepared statement, adding they also hoped to help grow the southwest part of Cape.

Euro Hair Studio now has five other stylists working at the salon, all experienced, all with professional attitudes, and all of whom keep up with the latest techniques, she said.

Buckley presents seminar

IBERIABANK collects over 3,500 books for 'Friends

of the Library' chapters

IBERIABANK, a 125-year-old subsidiary of IBERIABANK Corporation, collected over 3,500 new and used books during the month of February to benefit Friends of the Library chapters in Collier and Lee counties. Brettholtz appointed to museum foundation board
