Minnesota and Friends Social Club

New Resident Club

Bonsai Society

Bonsai enthusiasts are invited to attend the monthly meeting of the Bonsai Society of Southwest Florida, Inc. on Saturday, Feb. 18. The program will feature a "bring your own juniper workshop," tutored by Dorothy Schmitz and Ernie Fernandez. Following the workshop, a "bonsai basics" presentation will be made for new bonsai enthusiasts.

The public is invited to attend the meeting, which begins at 9 a.m. The meeting is held at the Support Personnel Association of Lee County (SPALC) Building at 6281 Metro Plantation Road, Fort Myers. Distinguished Flying Cross Society luncheon

Distinguished Flying Cross recipients and spouses are invited to a luncheon on Thursday, Feb. 16, at the Wine & Roses Italian Restaurant, 1404 Cape Coral Pkwy, Cape Coral from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Member, Carl Loiocano will talk about his experiences as a WW ll prisoner-of-war.

Fraternal Order of Eagles

The Fraternal Order of Eagles #3957 want to honor our first responders with a free years membership. This includes police, firefighters, E.M.T.s and our military police, military firefighters and correctional officers. We would like to thank you for all that you do everyday. The Fraternal Order of Eagles is now open to the public on Saturday mornings for breakfast. While shopping at the Farmers Market stop in for a delicious meal. This week our entertainment will include Guitar Bill on Wednesday, Bud Smith on Thursday and Friday and Moments in Time on Saturday.

MOAA

The Calusa chapter of the Military Officers Association of America normally meets the second Saturday of each month from September through May at the Wine and Roses restaurant at 1404 Cape Coral Parkway in Cape Coral.

The meeting starts at 9 a.m. with a buffet breakfast followed by an entertaining presentation, usually a noted speaker. A short business meeting then follows.

Exceptional Living Women's Group

The Exceptional Living Women's Group meets first and third Friday of each month at 1939 Park Meadows Drive, Suite 1, Fort Myers. Cost is $5.

The Exceptional Living Women's Group, lead by certified master life coach Mir Lynne Pietrzyk, teaches women how to look within themselves and find more peace, joy and happiness. The group is a safe place for women to meet and discuss life's ups and downs.
