RE/MAX Realty confirms ‘Boom!’ sponsorship ‘Boom!’

October 15, 2011
By DREW WINCHESTER (dwinchester@breezenewspapers.com) , Cape Coral Daily Breeze

RE/MAX Realty is again stepping up as the title sponsor of next year's "Red, White & Boom!", the region most popular and spectacular 4th of July celebration.

2012 will mark the third year that RE/MAX has served as the title sponsor. The decision to step up again was an easy one, according to Yoselyn Hollow.

"RE/MAX is heavily involved in citizenship so this made sense, and we've been blessed the last couple of years in terms of the exposure it provides," Hollow said.

"Its the largest show as far as I can see in the city and maybe the county. We're happy to be able to provide a big party for the surrounding areas on our nation's birthday," Hollow added.

The event draws thousands of people to the foot of the Cape Coral Bridge, where they get to watch fireworks and live music provided by a national act, for free.

RE/MAX Realty also sponsors the VIP area, which features all you can eat and drink for one price.

Hollow said RE/MAX was looking to institure a large VIP next year.

"We've got a couple tricks up our sleeve," Hollow added.

The Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce is responsible for organizing and hosting the event, and Chamber President Mike Quaintance said he was happy RE/MAX is back for a third go-round of title sponsorship.

"We're thrilled they're coming back," he said. "They've been a wonderful partner in bringing this event to the Cape."

Quaintance added that the Chamber of Commerce looks to improve the event every year while keeping a close eye on public safety.

"Public safety is the most important thing, making sure we've done everything we can to protect our guests," he said, adding, "Secondly, how do we make the event better? Those are the two defining questions we ask ourselves."

"Red, White & Boom!" is scheduled for July 4th, 2012. For more information contact the Chamber of Commerce at 549-6900 or RE/MAX Realty at 242-2000.
