DAYTONA BEACH (AP) - A family returning home from an emergency room visit found their house on fire.
Authorities say the fire killed two dogs inside the Daytona Beach home early Tuesday morning. Fire crews arrived at the scene about 1:30 a.m.
The homeowners had taken an adult child to the hospital so no one was home when the fire started.
The state fire marshal's office will investigate.
