TALLAHASSEE (AP) - The Florida House has voted to override two more of former Gov. Charlie Crist's vetoes.
Override votes were taken Thursday on bills that would create special committees legislative leaders could use to raise and distribute campaign contributions as they see fit and block local governments from imposing fees on farm land.
The measures then were sent to the Senate.
The Legislature in November overrode eight Crist vetoes during a special session after Republicans won veto-proof majorities in both chambers.
The campaign fund veto was overridden on an 81-39 party-line vote with Republicans in favor and Democrats opposed. That's one vote more than the 80 needed for an override by two-thirds of the chamber.
The farm bill veto was unanimously overridden.
