CORAL GABLES (AP) - Malcolm Grant scored 22 points to lead Miami to a 94-59 victory over Pepperdine Thursday night.

Miami (11-3) never trailed as Grant hit three early three-pointers to help the Hurricanes build a 27-13 lead with 8:43 remaining in the first half.

The Waves (5-11) reduced the margin with a 10-2 run in the next 4:05. Keion Bell's two free throws capped the spurt and cut Miami's lead to 29-23 with 4:38 left.

Miami responded with 12 points behind three-pointers from Durand Scott and Adrian Thomas. Thomas' three-pointer with 49 seconds left in the half increased the Hurricanes' lead to 43-23.

UCF 68, Princeton 62: Marcus Jordan scored 22 of his 26 points in the second half to help No. 19 Central Florida rally to beat Princeton in the final of the UCF Holiday Classic.

The son of NBA star Michael Jordan scored nine straight points early in the second half to wipe out a 37-29 halftime deficit for the Knights (13-0).

Dan Mavraides scored 20 points and Ian Hummer added 19 for Princeton (10-4).

Princeton scored the first eight points of the game and led by 10 in the first half behind the 3-point shooting of Mavraides. He hit 4-of-6 three-pointers and finished the half with 18 points.
